Gary Ellis joins Positive Commercial Finance

We are delighted to welcome former Goldentree Financial Services employee Gary Ellis to the team as Business Development Manager. Gary has worked in the short term property finance industry for 16 years, primarily for principal lenders, including Goldentree and in the early 2000’s, Davenham Property Finance. His roles at those companies have ranged from Divisional Director to Business Development Manager and Underwriter. He has good property contacts all over the country, with a particularly strong understanding of development finance.

Gary comments ‘I’ve found John and James really straightforward to deal with which fits in with my way of operating. Having only ever worked on the ‘lending’ side of the fence, I’m really looking forward to doing some brokering work. Hopefully I should have a good understanding of the risks lenders are looking for and are willing to underwrite so I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with many of them’
